A fun and spooky twist on classic deviled eggs, perfect for Halloween gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 6 hard-boiled eggs
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olives (for decoration)
  • Black food gel or edible marker

Instructions

  1. Peel the hard-boiled eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. Carefully remove the yolks and place them in a medium-sized bowl.
  2. Mash the yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning to your taste preferences.
  3. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the halved egg whites, ensuring each half is generously filled.
  4. Cut olives into small pieces to create the ‘spider’ shape and place them on top of the yolk mixture.
  5. Use black food gel or an edible marker to draw spider legs coming out from the olives for a creepy finish.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy this fun and spooky treat!

Notes

Use fresh eggs for easier peeling. For a lighter filling, swap out mayonnaise with Greek yogurt. Black olives are recommended for better color contrast against the egg whites.
